In math, students will finish their area and perimeter projects designed using the GRASPS model. Students will video tape a description of their project and upload to See-Saw. At the end of the week, we will begin working on dividing whole numbers. In science, students will finish their research about various forms of energy and finish publishing their first iBook!
With Mrs. Hartley
In ELA students will continue their study of natural and human resources by analyzing Brian’s use of the land in Hatchet. They will also begin a narrative writing study in which they will learn the strategies authors use to develop characters, theme, and plot. They will focus on using descriptive and sensory language as well as including the character’s thoughts and inner most feelings. Ultimately they will write a narrative about a character of their choosing.
