5. LIBRARY NEWS . . . SCHOOL library books were due Friday, May 13th. Any books they have checked out must be returned so they can avoid being fined for missing books.
6. On May the 17th our 8th Grade students will be visiting our High School to tour the building and learn more about Life as a Freshman :) That same morning we will have 6th Grade students from GIS & MIS visit our building to take a tour and learn more about LIFE @ GCJHS :)
7. We will have two separate End of the Year Awards Ceremonies on May 28th. See the calendar invites below for more information.
8. Summer School Information for current 8th graders can be found in the flyer section below.
9. Thursday, May 26th is the students' last day before summer break begins. More info about registration for the 2022-2023 school year will be sent to as soon as it is finalized.

END OF THE YEAR AWARDS PROGRAM = 8TH GRADE
Thursday, May 26th, 9am
GREENFIELD CENTRAL JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL, NORTH FRANKLIN STREET, GREENFIELD, IN, USA
- This will take place in the Main Gym
Not every student will be receiving an award.
Each teacher will recognize an “outstanding student” from each of their classes. These awards are given to students who display outstanding academic achievement, character, hard work, leadership, perseverance, and/or teamwork.
Two outstanding 8th grade student-athletes will be recognized with the Ron Reed Sportsmanship Award.
Parents are welcome to attend.
Students may go home at the conclusion of the program with their parents.
Students must be signed out before leaving.
To leave with a different parent they must have a written note from their own parent giving permission.
Students who have earned honor roll status will be recognized during homeroom near the end of the year.
RSVPs are enabled for this event.

This calendar shows ALL of the current sports events scheduled for our school.

PSAT 8/9 Scores are NOW available . . .
Select “I’m a student”
Using the student’s information, fill in the boxes in the “General Information” section. The student’s G-C email address can be used when required. It is the student’s ID number “@students.gcsc.k12.in.us.”
Create a username and password and provide the account security questions/answers.
Provide the required parent information.
Once the account is established, and you’ve logged in, click on the student’s name at the top of the screen. Then select “PSAT/NMSQT, PSAT 10, and PSAT 8/9 scores”
In the “Score Overview” and “Score Details” areas of the site, you can see the student’s overall score (range of 240-1440), their percentile compared to other students who took the assessment, and their individual scores for reading/writing and math.
