City Schools CONNECT 8.18.22
August 17, 2022

August 18, 2022
On August 15, City Schools emailed a message to students and families about teacher staffing for the 2022-23 school year that inadvertently attached a Word document that contained staff comments from the editing process. We apologize for this oversight and any confusion it may have caused.
The comments were part of the collaborative input process we use to ensure our messages are accurate, transparent, concise, and error-free. You can read a full version of the correct message on the City Schools website. If you have questions about the message, please email communications@bcps.k12.md.us.

Transportation Updates
We are urging all families and students to start planning the trip to and from school now! Here are some helpful tips:
- Know what time your school day starts and ends. Bell schedules for each school can be found at https://www.baltimorecityschools.org/new-bell-schedules
- If your student takes a yellow bus or receives curb-to-curb transportation, please call your school to make sure they have the correct address for your student.
- Know your route! If you take MTA to school, visit www.mta.maryland.gov/transit to plan your trip. MTA is expected to post the fall schedules in mid-August.
