A Letter from the Principal

Dear SHPS Parents,

Welcome to the new and improved Heart 2 Heart school newsletter format, the 1st of this new school year. This newsletter is our main method of communication with you, our school parents. Therefore, please take a few minutes to read it each week.

The topic of today’s “Principal’s Message” is the 1st day of school. Below are the important points and tips for this Wednesday:

  • Parents of grades TK-1st grade are allowed on campus to drop off their children at the classrooms. The gates will open at 7:45.

  • Parents are asked to please wear masks at all times, even outdoors on this 1st day.

  • All parents are invited to stay for our Monday Morning Assembly beginning at 8:10 AM

  • All parents are invited and encouraged to stay for our annual “Pray It Forward” where, together with Fr. Mike, we will pray over and bless our students and teachers for this school year. This will begin 10 minutes after the morning assembly.

  • There are ½ days all week this week. Pick up is at 12:00 for TK-3rd grades and 12:15 for grades 4th-8th.

  • Parents are asked not to come on campus at the end of the day. The TK-1st grade students will be walked to the gate.

  • Please look for my email tomorrow outlining our drop-off and pick-up procedures for 2021-2022.

There isn’t anything more exciting and positive than the 1st day of school! We look forward to seeing you all this Wednesday morning!

Peace of Christ,

Peter Harris
