Just Some Friendly Reminders....
-- Please help students see the importance of MAP testing and PARCC testing by encouraging them to set goals for themselves. When we test again in January, our goal is for students to be motivated to beat their score from the last Spring.
-- If you are interested in doing student-led conferences for February, but aren't sure where to start, please let me know! I would love to share some ideas and help get you started with this.
Observations and Components
Professional Development Log/Documentation
Please make sure to submit your November Professional Development logs or documentation to Michelle by December 1st. :) Thank you to those of you who have already submitted it.
Please make sure to submit your December PD logs. They were due January 2nd. :)
Warrior Workshops for Parents
In order for this event to be successful, we need your help. Please click on the survey to give us ideas for what types of courses/sessions we should offer. Are you willing to teach? We would like to offer a stipend to teachers who would like to lead a workshop.
We are also looking to provide a "child care service" so that parents can attend.

Big Hollow Mail Call!
It's time to break out the mailboxes again! Big Hollow Elementary is starting our own mail system called The Big Hollow Mail call. Students will be collecting, sorting and delivering the mail to teachers and friends. The group will meet at 2:30 on Friday afternoons to collect, sort and deliver the mail. Jacqui Kolar will be sending out an application in case you have students who are interested in applying for the positions available within our postal service. Please help support this system by encouraging students to write letters to friends, teachers, and staff during unstructured work times (like centers perhaps?!)
