SV Week 36 Update
STEAM Night on Wednesday
Next week we celebrate our Teachers during Teacher Appreciation Week as well as National School Nurse Day and National School Lunch Hero Day on Wednesday. If you would like to express your gratitude to our amazing staff you can check out the staff favorites list and fill their bucket next week.
Huge shout out to Mr. Lynch and the Middle School Viper Band for earning a "Superior" designation on Wednesday at Mountain Ridge HS district assessments. Your hard work has paid off! Congratulations to our baseball and softball teams for great seasons and making it all the way to the semi finals this week. Both teams were knocked out of the playoffs, but they played hard and had great seasons!
Next Wednesday is a big night at SV, and we want to make sure everyone is able to attend our STEAM Night Showcase of student work on Wednesday, May 4 from 5:00-7:00 pm. All our grades will have STEAM on display and it will be a student-centered celebration of hard work, grit, and engineering that all our vipers have demonstrated in 21-22. We are very excited to have this capstone event back at SV after a two year hiatus.
We also have movie night tonight and this event is free for any SV community/family members in our courtyard. We do ask that all student are accompanied by a parent or trusted adult and are supervised on campus.
Team Connect Mentors Our Team Connect middle schoolers spread kindness and leadership in Kindergarten this week | The Best! We celebrated our amazing front office team on Wednesday for Administrative Assistant's Day! Thanks for all who filled buckets this week. | Superior! I am proud to say that the Sierra Verde Band received a rating of "SUPERIOR" at DVUSD Assessments on Wednesday at Mountain Ridge HS! This is the highest rating a band can receive, with the exception of Superior w/Distinction. (Which we were ONE POINT away from!) - Director Ben Lynch |

PTSO Movie Night is Tonight!

PTSO Needs Your Help!
Just a friendly reminder that Teacher Appreciation Week is next week. We have had many parents/families come forward to volunteer to make signs for the windows of the 50+ wonderful teachers we have here at Sierra Verde! We are so grateful to those who have signed up to help out. We could still use several more volunteers to help out on Sunday, if you can.
On Sunday, May 1st the school campus will be open from 9AM – Noon to come and help hang up the signs on the teachers’ windows.
If you are able to help us out, please let us know as soon as possible!
Thank you so much for your support!
Please contact us by email: sierraverdeptso@gmail.com
Or on social media: https://www.facebook.com/svptso/
You will then be connected to Justine Huh, who is the Coordinator of this project. She will connect you to 1 or more teachers who have not already been spoken for.

Any medication not picked up will be destroyed after the pickup date.
