Desserts from Around the World
Currently, learning how to bake yummmmy treats
Welcome to Mexico
Something simple, but yet so tasty!! I have sampled my baking skills with "Snowballs" or Mexican Wedding Cookies. They are a basic combination of sugar, butter, vanilla, chocolate chips, and flour. I found this recipe on pinterest!!

A Little Taste from France
I have baked a few small things since my snowballs, but they weren't project worthy! What I am about to show you are the SCRUMPTIOUS crepes I made. It may look like a pancake, but make no mistake it's better. They are thinner than pancakes and have a different consistency. You can make sweet crepes or savory!! hmmm options???? I filled my crepes with cream cheese filling and nutella!! My mom was my taste tester and she had 2. Crepes are originally a french dessert but became a trend in the US recently.

Can't Go Wrong with Ricotta (ITALY)
As, I was searching for recipes I came across quite a unique one... Ricotta cheese Italian cookies, weird when you think of it right? Well, when ricotta is mixed with butter and sugar it becomes quite sweet, (ie. cannolis). I loooooveeee Italian food so I was super excited to be able to test my baking skills on an Italian recipe. Basically calls for all basic ingredients for a sugar cookie, except you need 15.oz of ricotta cheese. And to make the clear glaze you need almond extract, milk, and confectioner's sugar. I legitimately give this trial a 10/10 because they came out so delicious! What I learned from this, is that what you might expect something to come out as it can go a COMPLETE different direction.
PS. Funny note, the flour I measured out. ended up all over my kitchen floor, and I had to start all over :)

Final Statement :)
I really enjoyed this project. I'm glad I chose baking because it taught me a lot of new things to make other than your normal brownies and cupcakes. I will definitely keep baking from here on out. I had a few terrible fails, but it happens! Thank you so much for looking into my senior project hope you enjoy!
