Most ignificant goddess in Greek Mythology

Thesis Statment

In Evangelia Hatzitsinidou’s greek-gods.info , Zeus is the most significant goddess in Greek Mythology that shows an image that is sneaky and powerful but also lustful when necessary.

Zeus the ruler of earth, sky and the Lord of mount Olympus. How he got these labels was, most of his life he was alone because when he was a newborn his father Cronus came and swallowed his family. Rhea got the chance to hide Zeus in a cave. Which was then named “cave of Zeus”. Zeus matured and claimed the kingdom of the world which started a fight between his father and him. Zeus overthrew his father and then when it came down to the draw between Poseidon, Zeus and Hades. Zeus had won the draw.

For example, Zeus felt powerful taking down his father and knowing he had a chance to win over the world.

Evangelia Hatzitsinidou’s states, “After overthrowing his father Cronus, Zeus was confronted with the Giants and also the monster Typhon, which he both defeated successfully. Time had come for the Kingdom of the World to be in the hands of Zeus and his siblings” (Hatzitsinidou’s).

This shows how Zeus was a powerful god that was able to take over his father and he did. He is the most important goddess because he had great power and trusted in himself. He had a strange childhood but survived it.

Although Zeus was a lustful goddess that was very popular. He did wrong in his life but he truly is a great goddess.
