Thanksgiving Family Picnic and Book Fair - IMPORTANT INFO

I can't wait for our Thanksgiving Picnic again this year! Only students and staff will be served Thanksgiving Lunch on this day, but you are more than welcome to bring a picnic lunch of your own. You will meet your student outside during his/her regular lunch times (see times below). Bring a blanket or chairs, find a spot out on the grassy field in front of the school and enjoy! We will be limiting visitors entering the building to only Book Fair shoppers only. This is to ensure we are keeping our school as safe as possible while still having a great community event. If you intend on coming in with your student to shop at the Book Fair, please sign up in advance on this form so we can have your badge ready for you. The form is already open! If you have never visited the school, you will need to do an official check-in by scanning your driver's license with the front office. Remember, you only need to sign in or complete the form if you plan on visiting the Bookfair. I am looking forward to seeing everyone at this amazing event!

How to Help Boost Your Child’s Mental Health

There are practices you can adopt to elevate your mood, become more resilient, and enjoy life more. But just as it requires effort to build and maintain physical health, it’s the same with mental health!

Here are some helpful strategies:

  • Make it a priority for your kids to play with friends outside of school, especially face-to-face

  • Keep them active

  • Practice mindfulness as a family

  • Eat a brain-healthy diet

  • Make sure they are getting at least 8-9 hours of sleep during the week

  • Set a consistent home routine

  • Help your kids think of things they are grateful for
