TAKING TIME TO CELEBRATE THE LITTLE THINGS!
Weekly Staff Meeting - Tuesday @ 7:45
- EDI (Explicit Direction Instruction) - Discuss & create a personal goal
- Open Google Folder "EDI Staff Goals 2017-2018" (This has been shared with you.)
- Make a copy of the document inside the folder "EDI GOAL MASTER" and name it (ie. Mrs. Floyd's EDI GOAL 2017-2018) - Leave it in this folder.
- Edit your new document to reflect your personal EDI Goal
- Videotaping of a lesson - Sign up for a time @ https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/15cOJnZaEZaweK7PLmN4Orw8MrjqY8QRHdTa9qBVNxBM/edit?usp=sharing
- Review intruder procedures - Lock Out & Lock Down (Make sure you and your students know the difference and what to do.
- Make sure you are implementing systematic supervision during recess. Move around the playground so you are listening to and interacting with students. Make sure all areas of the playground are supervised by an adult.

- Principal Monthly Read Aloud for March - Prior to March 21, please schedule a 30 minute time for me to visit your classroom. Our March book will include a lesson on Down Syndrome. Eliana & Kate Dyer will be helping deliver a few of the lessons.
- Field Trips - If you haven’t scheduled your field trip yet, please see me in the next couple weeks so we can confirm dates and transportation!

PBIS focus: HALLWAY EXPECTATIONS
- Review the matrix for HALLWAY EXPECTATIONS with your students

- Discuss WHY following the expectations are important.
- How does it help them? their classmates? staff members?
- Talk through some situations they might encounter in the HALLWAY

- WIPE DOWN WEDNESDAY....Make sure to have your students help wipe down desks/chairs/etc. on Wednesdays! Let's see if we can keep the germs down!
Who wants to be a winner?
NAME IT, CLAIM IT, EXPLAIN IT.....Continue to Brag It Up and share the great things that are going on in your classroom. Take a photo of something you are very proud of in your classroom. This could be an instructional strategy that is effective with your students, classroom management strategy/tool, something new you are trying this year, etc. Post the photo along with a brief description on our Google Community page. At a staff meeting, I will share the photo and as the teacher, you will need to NAME IT, CLAIM IT & EXPLAIN IT!
