Micro Elementary Parent Newsletter
November 2018
Message from Principal Parrish
Dear Parents,
Please plan on joining us November 15th at 5:30 for our Fall Project-Based Learning Night. Please come out and learn first hand how our students are learning in real-world situations. We strive to provide students opportunities to learn in a hands-on manner and solve real problems.
Thank you!
Mr. Parrish

Micro Clubs: We have started Student Clubs here at Micro! On early release days and the days before student holidays, we hold club meetings. The clubs are based on student interests. So far we have met once and the clubs seemed to be a hit with our students. Our next club day is November 20th.

Our school has two Wildly Important Goals that we will focus on as a school.
1. Help students develop a love of reading.
2. Provide students with meaningful and personalized learning experiences.
Research shows that students who enjoy reading are more successful in school. We also want to provide our students with "real world" learning experiences that make content come alive.
