First Week of School
We had a fun and successful first week of the 2021/2022 school year here at Day Middle. During our first three days of learning, students participated in fun Ice Breaker activities in their classrooms, were able to engage in our Common Sense Assembly where they learned all about what to expect and what is expected at Day Middle and how to find success on campus. Students even had opportunities to dive into academics and hit the ground running in their learning. Our staff had a blast getting to know your children face to face and can't wait for all of the great experiences this year will hold.
On-Campus Parking
Parents,
Due to a limited number of parking spaces on our site, all parking is reserved for staff only. Please either use the drop-off loop or park along the street when bringing your children to school and picking them up. There are many new parking spots on N. General Kearney and there is a dirt area across the street for use. Thank you for your assistance.
Want to Avoid Traffic During Pick-up?
If you would like to avoid the heavy traffic at the end of the school day, arrive to campus about ten minutes after dismissal (2:55). Most traffic will have already cleared by then allowing you easy access to campus.
Also, please abide by traffic laws to keep our students and community safe. Students and parents should only cross the street at the intersection U-turns on double yellow lines is not permitted. Student safety is of utmost importance and we greatly appreciate your cooperation.
