PTO Staff Appreciation

Staff Appreciation Week is May 3 - 7th. This year we will showing all 50 staff members how much we appreciate their dedication. PTO funds and local business donations are providing daily coffee and pastries, two lunches, flowers, raffle items, snacks and drinks throughout the week.

We are asking that families show appreciation individually by assisting in "Chalk the Walk" from on Sunday, May 2nd. Stop by Hillcrest and draw a picture or write a message on the sidewalk to show your appreciation. This can be done anytime on Sunday after 1:00 PM if you use your own chalk. PTO will have chalk available from 1:00 - 3:00 PM. Make sure to remember your mask as you will be on school grounds.

Additionally, PTO will be sending home a Fill a Bucket flyer. We are asking students and families to consider filling each staff members bucket with goodies, snacks, drinks, gift cards or items. The flyers will contain a list of each staff members favorite things! Consider sending in a small item for your teachers, aides and support staff! Watch for the details next week!

PTO JK Lee Program

We had a record breaking number of students attend the JK Lee Afterschool program. JK Lee generously donated their time and gave back $580 to PTO. We appreciate Mrs. Lee's dedication to our community and willingness to work with the mitigation strategies of the district to provide our students with this opportunity. A special thank you as well to Jennifer Carerros for organizing the program!
