Assistive Tech Loan Fund Authority
ATLFA
ATFLA is a state government authority set in place to make low-interest loans to residents of Virginia that require assistive technology or home modifications.
Eligibility
- Virginia resident
- Have a disability
- Maximum of $50,000 given in loan
- Caretakers of people with disability are also eligible to apply.

A huge variety of assistive technology or specialized equipment is covered.

- Materials to facilitate telework
Steps for Accessing Funds
Fill out the ATLFA Direct Loan Application and the ATLFA Personal Information Application and send both forms directly to the ATLFA.
The following supporting documents are required:
- Proof of Identity
- Proof of Income
- Proof of Disability related to the request
- Buyer's order from the vendor where the accommodation will be purchased
