Paul Cezanne, Pyramid of Skulls painting has three skulls which stand out but in those 3 skulls one is a white color while the other are more yellow, this makes the white skull emphasized.

When adding emphasis to lyrics in music most artists will make the emphasized lyric the title of their song and repeat the lyrics throughout the song. When emphasizing rhythm artists change the rhythm of the music.
