Early Intervention is the best prevention
The first three years of a child's life have many milestones. Physical milestones such as rolling, crawling, walking and running are easily noticed. Language development is equally important but can be little harder to detect when children may be falling behind. The chart below is a great reference for language development at different stages. If you suspect your child may be falling behind there is a 1-800 number to contact Early On Michigan for assistance.
