Gimme Smore Library Time!
The Library is my happy place.
April 28th, 2023
Happy End of April! Now that we are getting closer to the end of the school year, I will be looking for lots of books to be returned to the Library. Students can return books to the Library or the return boxes in the hallways any day of the week! Thank you for taking a few minutes to see what we've up to in the Library this week. Please contact me with any comments or questions.
Best,
Mrs. Lisa Wagoner
This Week in Library...
- 2nd graders continued our Continent Folktales unit by focusing on Asia. Students participated in a fun reading of The Jade Stone and watched a reading of Two of Everything.
- 3rd graders began a new unit ... TALL TALES! They learned about the characteristics of tall tale stories and read Cleaver Beatrice.

HEY KIDS! WIN A TRIP TO MRS. WAGONER'S PRIZE BOX!!!
You may not know, but I have a pretty amazing prize box. All you have to do is make sure that your parents read the library newsletter each week, or better yet, you should read it with them! Then, you can find the "KIDS QUESTION OF THE WEEK" section. Here's what to do:
- Read the question of the week.
- Use one of the links that I give you and read to figure out the answer.
- Submit your answer in the google form. One entry per student please. I will accept answers until Tuesday night.
- One lucky winner will be chosen each Wednesday!
Good Luck!
