The World is Our Family!
November 2022
November News
As we begin a month of thankfulness, I would like to take a moment to share my appreciation not only for the staff and faculty at CIS but for all of our students and their families. They work tirelessly to ensure that the students are being academically challenged as well as supported so they can become their best selves. Thank you!
We will be honoring our veterans and those who are still actively serving with a concert by our high school band under the direction of Ms. Alyssa Kennedy. If you are a Veteran or currently serving, we would be honored to have you attend the concert on November 10 beginning at 10:00.
We are thankful for our faculty and staff members who have serve or are still serving.

Mr. Bryan Davis

In a continuation of our service to our community, we have a few service projects for the months of November and December. First, our kindergarten, first and second grade classes are collecting gently used or new coats for a Coat Drive to support the Children's Home in Cabarrus County. Every family, K-12 is allowed to donate for this drive.
National Honor Society is having a Red Cross Blood Drive on November 8. If you would like to donate, see the QR code on the flyer below.
Please do not hesitate to let me know if you have any questions about our safety systems at CIS.
Thankfully,
Mrs. Sarah P. Grafton
Interim Principal
