STAAR Testing Season will begin NEXT WEEK
Please read below for important information about STAAR testing, our state accountability tests that begin in 3rd grade. Satisfactory performance on STAAR tests is a prerequisite to grade promotion in grades 3-8.
Several things you can do to help ensure a successful testing experience is that your student arrives on time, fully rested and prepared to test. It is also important to make sure your child eats a good dinner the night before, if not a good breakfast the morning of testing. Similarly, encouraging your student to do his or her personal best can greatly improve self-confidence levels leading to better performance.
Thank you for all you do to help your student be as successful as possible, and for all of your contributions to Harmony Science Academy.

Traffic update
We appreciate your patience with our traffic plan. When you exit, there have been some delays when exiting Talbert and turning onto Mapleshade. It will help the delay if all parents do two things:
1. When turning onto Mapleshade, it will greatly help if everyone turns right. There is a U-Turn very close where you can easily turn around and drive back to Coit.
2. If you must turn left onto Mapleshade, make room for cars behind you to turn right. You can veer left and make a second lane to go left, and there will be room for parents to turn right. This will help the exiting line move faster.
We also ask that you DRIVE SLOW while on campus!!
Thank you!
