Reopening update
An e-newsletter from Mounds View Public Schools
July 29, 2020
Dear families:
Many factors have influenced our reopening planning, including surveys to gather parent, staff and student feedback. Last week, we shared a reopening planning document that featured details related to each of the three planning scenarios as well as survey results from parents.
We have finished analyzing the results of staff and secondary student surveys sent earlier this month and would like to share the results with you -- in addition to the parent feedback we have already shared. You can view all of the survey results, including feedback from each individual school at moundsviewschools.org/reopeningsurveys.
More feedback in the fall
Community feedback continues to be extremely valuable to us as we navigate this uncertain time. Survey results about distance learning last spring have helped us make some improvements, and results this summer are informing our planning for reopening schools. We will continue this community engagement by sending a survey in the fall to hear feedback about how the 2020-21 school year is going for families and staff. Survey results will then help us make ongoing adjustments and improvements.
I want to thank you for your feedback so far and your feedback yet to come.
Chris Lennox
Superintendent
