Savor a free, home-cooked meal provided by BCS as 11th grade ELA students perform excerpts from their Fences creative projects.


6:30-8:00 10TH GRADE BOOKTALKS & STORY-TELLING CIRCLES

Marieke van Woerkem from the Morningside Center for Teaching Social Responsibility will convene several family listening circles with our 10th graders who will discuss their book talks and share how the books they've been reading connect to their lives. Families will be invited to share their experience with story-telling, oral and written--weaving together their stories and building community through our collective experiences.
