Robert Hunter Report

Nov. 14, 2021
Dear Robert Hunter families,
We had a great week at RH - there was such excitement in the building as the students picked out their own books at the book fair. Thank you to all of our families who volunteered to assist. We are so happy that we were able to bring back this experience for our students.
Conferences are coming up. Please reach out to your child’s teacher if you do not have a conference arranged. Translators are available. More information is below.
Since all spiritwear arrived this past week, we are celebrating with a school spirit day this Friday. Encourage your children to wear their RH spiritwear or school colors (blue and white).
We hope everyone enjoys the weekend!
Mrs. Glaab and Mrs. Braynor

Support/ESL teachers will be joining conferences. If you would like to schedule a conference with a Related Arts teacher, please reach out to them directly to schedule a time. Please let your child’s teacher(s) know if you would like a translator to be present, and if you would prefer a virtual or in-person conference.
Lost and Found
Our lost-and-found bin is overflowing. Please remind your child to check the lost-and-found in the front foyer if they are missing any items. You can also reach out to your child’s teacher if something is missing, and they can assist your child in checking.
Students who receive ESL and literacy support are eligible for after-school support. You should have received an email about registration. Please reach out if you have any questions. Registration is due on Monday, Nov. 15th.
We will be celebrating the end of the calendar year with winter celebrations. Homeroom parents once again are welcome to come into the building to facilitate class parties. We ask that no more than two homeroom parents per class attend, and the same volunteer protocols are in place. Homeroom parents - please connect with your child’s teacher to discuss any planning.
National School Psychology Week
It’s National School Psychology Appreciation Week. Thank you to Lauren Smith, our RH school psychologist who supports students, staff, and families every day! Check out these tips from The National Association for School Psychology for supporting students’ mental health:
