Dear Everitt Families:

I want to ask and encourage all of you to participate in Jeffco's Family School Partnership Survey. It is so important to all of us at Everitt to have your feedback about what we're doing well and how we could improve to serve you and your students better. The survey is open now to families and will be available through Friday, December, 18. You can find it HERE and at the button below.

As always, thank you for believing in the power of neighborhood schools to bring our communities together, and thank you for sharing your kids with us; it is our honor to serve them.

REMOTE Learners

HYBRID Learners

Ms. Gaines: At school on MON-TUES Kelsey.Gaines@jeffco.k12.co.us

Ms. MacDonald: At school on WED-THURS Allison.MacDonald@jeffco.k12.co.us

In an effort to give all of our students (REMOTE and HYBRID) an opportunity to take a break during their school day and just “hang-out” with friends and peers, we’re starting something new called TIME OUT! We know the kids miss talking to one another. Although it’ll be a get-together on ZOOM and not in person, we still look forward to giving kids a chance to connect. Our goal is to create a social ZOOM space for kids to meet-up with old friends and meet new ones.

Our 1st TIME OUT! will be held this Monday, December 7 from 10:51-11:21 a.m., 6th Grade only.

Tuesday will be for 7th graders, and we’ll meet at the same time 10:51-11:21 a.m.

Wednesday is 8th Grade only; same time to meet 10:51-11:21 a.m.

The following flyer will also be posted in 2nd Period Google Classrooms. Let’s get the word out! Time for all of us to do a little “hanging out”!

From the Wheat Ridge Family Engagement Team

I am reaching out to you about a community cookbook that the Family Engagement team is creating for the Wheat Ridge Artic area. Everitt, Kullerstrand, Peak, Stevens, and Wilmore-Davis are asking families to provide recipes for the cookbook that we will release digitally right before the holiday break. A digital cookbook means that we can submit video and audio files, too.

To that end, I wanted to ask if you all would be able to provide some art, music, and healthy eating facts (or other related content) that would support the recipes and give the cookbook more substance. We are gathering all content by Wednesday, 12/9.

We are excited to be working as an articulation area to engage our families in a fun way during these challenging times. And I know you all have a lot on your plate right now, but I hope you are able to provide content for this fun collaborative project.

Thank you very much for your time and effort! Please let me know if you have any questions.

Please submit all files to Edgar.Solis@jeffco.k12.co.us thank you.
