Sharing is Caring!
C.A.R.E. is a Collaboration
The Tennessee Department of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and the Orange Grove Center have partnered to develop a survey to assess the safety systems and atmosphere of facilities that provide services to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The survey is called CARE (Cultural Assessment and Reporting Experience). The CARE survey is based on principles that encourage service providers to give essential safety-related information in order to proactively improve safety conditions for the people served and the employees who provide services.
