Engagement Opportunities

Community Engagement Tip

Tip #1: Start reminding residents about community standards and expectations that were discussed during floor meetings. It is helpful to post these on your community's floor and refer to when needed.

Septa Safety

Septa Safety is an event that educates students on how to be safe and respectful while traveling on public transportation. This is scheduled to occur on Saturday, September 21, 2013. RA’s are given subway tokens and asked to plan a program where their residents would utilize the subway. During this program staff is given talking point and education to communicate to their residents.

Please work with your Resident Coordinator/Director to take advantage of this engagement opportunity!

Campus Philly-College Day

College Day celebrates our city as a thriving college town, introducing everything off-campus that makes Philadelphia a great place to be a student. On Saturday. September 28th meet at the Philadelphia Art Museum steps (2600 Benjamin Franklin Parkway) between 10a.m. and 4p.m. for music, food, free museums, local vendors and giveaways.

Consult with your Resident Director for pre-made posters to advertise this event as wellas tweet @campus_philly once you have these posted in your community. (if you have twitter)
