Septa Safety
Septa Safety is an event that educates students on how to be safe and respectful while traveling on public transportation. This is scheduled to occur on Saturday, September 21, 2013. RA’s are given subway tokens and asked to plan a program where their residents would utilize the subway. During this program staff is given talking point and education to communicate to their residents.
Please work with your Resident Coordinator/Director to take advantage of this engagement opportunity!
Campus Philly-College Day
College Day celebrates our city as a thriving college town, introducing everything off-campus that makes Philadelphia a great place to be a student. On Saturday. September 28th meet at the Philadelphia Art Museum steps (2600 Benjamin Franklin Parkway) between 10a.m. and 4p.m. for music, food, free museums, local vendors and giveaways.
Consult with your Resident Director for pre-made posters to advertise this event as wellas tweet @campus_philly once you have these posted in your community. (if you have twitter)
Intramurals
Do you have residents that enjoy competitions and sports? Intramurals would be an excellent fit for you to organize as an engagement opportunity by registering a team for your respective building or floor community. There are several division of sports being offered through this program; however, more information can be found through the site below.

Make that Move!
We are currently seeking 4-6 resident assistants/peer mentors to assist in facilitating the 2nd annual Make that move program. The engagement opportunity consist of staff members showcasing the upperclass buildings to current first year students. The essence of the program allow these students to take tours of Temple Towers, 1300, Morgan, and Elmira Jeffries.
