Rollercoaster experiment
Angelica, Hanna, Camille
In this experiment, we found a rollercoaster with a double loop that was successful in building enough kinetic energy to make it all the way through both loops without stopping or falling inside a loop. The second loop is lower than the first which allows the racecar to make it through. The tape helped keep it lined up accurately so the car wouldn't fly off. The centripetal acceleration is what keeps the car on track in the loops and the higher the slope of the start of the rollercoaster, the more gravitational acceleration there will be to act on the car.
