Reteaching and Community Service During Lunch
Lori, Michele and I will be starting reteaches during Lunch and Recess. For new staff members, a reteach is an opportunity where students that receive a major office referral reflect on their behavior the following day and practice the expected behaviors. An email will go out each day and identify where students should go and who they're expected to see.
Community service will be given to students that are having a difficult time keeping their hands to themselves. They will either assist with sweeping up the lunchroom or picking up trash outside.
Please let me know if you're interesting in lending a hand during lunch and recess to facilitate reteaches or community service. You would be paid your hourly rate of $21.80.
Here is a breakdown of what you could earn:
5 days a week: $109 a week, $436 a month, $2,943 for remainder of year (27 weeks)
4 days a week: $87.20 a week, $348.80 a month, $2354.40 for remainder of year (27 weeks)
3 days a week: $65.40 a week, $261.60 a month, $1,765.80 for remainder of year (27 weeks)
2 days a week: $43.60 a week, $174.40 a month, $1,177.20 for remainder of year (27 weeks)
1 day a week: $21.80 a week, $87.20 a month, $588.60 for remainder of year (27 weeks)

Nuts and Bolts - Updated 10/14/18
- Please be sure to notify Emily and Kathie if there are changes to your specials schedules. Their students have mandated general education hours and its extremely important that they attend their specials.
- Please continue to send any PTO Ambassador forms to the office.
- Please share your weekly newsletters with me by "Ccing" me when they are emailed out to families. This allows for me to stay connected with all of the exciting things happening inside of your classrooms.
- Dragon Dollars have been passed out and used for students in (Y5-3) for our weekly raffles. The school store will be available for students in grades (4-5). Students in grades (Y5-3) can save up their Dragon Dollars if they would like to spend them once they reach 4th or 5th grade.
- Behavior Referrals must be completed using the Online Behavior Form. Staff must complete the behavior form anytime a student is sent down to the office for a major office referral. Homeroom Teachers and Special Area Teachers are responsible for contacting the family to notify them of any incidents that occurred inside of the classroom. Please call home over an email whenever possible. Personally, I'd recommend sharing anything over 3-4 sentences over a phone call as well.
