The men got tired and exhausted because they worked morning to midnight. They used seven different techniques to mine for gold. They ate old mutton to survive on the goldfields.

The man worked morning to midnight when they come back to the tent they were as exhaust as a bear and tired. Every day they would dig for gold and some men would not get any so they would take the gold off other men.

They used seven different techniques like shift mining, panning, pickaxe, shovel to found gold. The mines dig with this techniques sometimes they used this and they didn’t get gold.

They ate old mutton to survive at the goldfields. They would salt the mutton, dig a hole, put it in the hole and cover the hole to preserve it. They would put the damper in a belly can on a open firer,then eat it.
