A Note from the Principal
I have two important things to share with you. First, as you may have seen on the news last night, there has been a rise in strep throat infections among children. Our school is a reflection of the wider community. We do have several cases of strep throat in our school and at different grade levels. Please keep this in mind as your children present with symptoms.
Second, I want to strongly encourage families to consider applying for the Angel Scholarship. Thanks to those who contributed to the Angel Scholarship Fund, we have just over $60,000 available in tuition assistance to offer our school families who have a need that is new this year. I feel that we will be able to assist many more families than we have been able to in the past. I strongly encourage every family to read the information and consider whether they would like to apply for Diocesan Tuition Assistance and/or the Angel Scholarship. I would be happy to speak to anyone who has questions about this. We are in a great position to help more families financially than ever before so I hope that you consider it.
Sincerely,
Diane Raguz, Principal

SPB is Now Hiring for the 2023-2024 School Year!
Preschool Extended Day Coordinator
Playground Volunteers Needed-Kindergarten to Grade 3
We are asking that each family (mom, dad, grandma, etc.) choose at least two days to volunteer each time slot being 11:10 am-12:55 pm. There are many, many time slots open! We are so grateful for the help!
Grade 3 families are asked to volunteer in February, Grade 2 in March, Grade 1 in April, Kindergarten and anyone who would like to help in May/June.
This is a great way for you to interact with your child and his/her classmates during the school day! Recess Volunteers should arrive to school at 11:10 and check in at the office. Duties will include supervising students at recess, escorting the students to and from the school doors. Volunteers will be with one school staff member each day to help direct.
Remember that after your two volunteer time slots, you are done for the year, as each month is assigned to a different grade.
Thank you again for your time and service to the students and teachers of SPB! Simply click on the following links to sign up: Grade 3, Grade 2, Grade 1, Kindergarten
