Ross Round Up
Engage. Empower. Educate. Every Day.
May 26, 2023
Hi families!
What a week we had at Ross.
- On Tuesday, current Hubbard and Indian Creek 3rd graders visited Ross to meet teachers, CAST Leaders, and tour the school. They had a great experience. Check out the video.
- On Wednesday, KHS graduating Seniors came and visited for their graduation tour. It's always one of our favorite moments as former students walk our halls, and our students cheered for them and honored them for their accomplishments. Check out the video.
This upcoming week is the last week of school and filled with fun and work.
Monday, May 29, is Memorial Day, so there's no school.
Tuesday, May 30, is Field Day.
- 4th grade will be from 12:30-2:00 pm.
- 5th grade will be from 2:00-3:30 pm.
- Parents are welcome to join us for Field Day. No siblings are allowed. Just let your classroom teacher know you're coming. If you come, you'll do rotations with your child's class. Unfortunately, no younger siblings are allowed to join.
- One of the stations will be an awards station--this is instead of an awards assembly. If your child is receiving an award, they brought home an invite last Friday in their backpack.
- For Field Day, all students will get a new Ross Rams mascot t-shirt for free! Thank you, PTA, for supporting us in that.
Wednesday and Thursday are early release at 1:30 pm.
Thursday is the last day of school. Students who ordered yearbooks will receive their yearbooks. The last part of the day, we will have a school-wide yearbook/memory book signing party with all our staff and kids. We're looking forward to having this bonding time together, saying goodbye to each other for the summer, and getting all the signatures that we can.
We're excited to end the year strong and already looking forward to a great year together next year for our returning students and our new 4th graders. Hope you have amazing summer plans!
Love,
Principal Tripp
