NG is Hosting the Next KSD-NOW Packing Party: September 8

The next KSD NOW Packing Party will be hosted by North Glendale volunteers (each month a different school will host):

Wednesday, September 8, 2021, at 9:30 am

at Hough Technology Learning Center, 106 Sappington Rd.

Sign up to volunteer at:

Volunteers are encouraged to bring their own masks, if possible. If you sign up but are feeling ill before the Packing Party, please let us know in advance.

We look forward to seeing you on the 8th!

Car Pick Up Signs

If you are (or plan to be even sporadically) a car pick up family, please be sure you have one of our hang tags. Send me an email at and I will stick one in your kid's backpack!

Safety in Car Pick Up Lines

Please help us keep all kids and staff safe by paying full attention to your surroundings during car pick up and drop off. We had a number of folks chatting on phones during both of these times this week and had a few scares when people were not paying full attention.

Join the Rotary Ramble School Challenge!

What Is The School Challenge?

The School Challenge is an arm of our Kirkwood Greentree Rotary Ramble specifically designed for elementary and middle school kids. Each Kirkwood-area middle and elementary school competes to register the most runners (who run at a reduced price). The middle and elementary schools with the most runners registered will receive $500. We present the $500 checks at the Kirkwood Rotary Club luncheon where we honor the teachers of the year.

Elementary Schoolers

Elementary school aged children in grades K-5 run in the Fun Run starting at 8:30 am, and pay only $10 pre-registered. The route is just under a mile. Each student receives a t-shirt, and if they complete the course, they will also receive a medal.

Parents may run the course with their child for free, but many parents choose to cheer from the sidewalk along Geyer Road and meet their child at the finish line.

Please use the one of the hyperlinks below of your choice to pre-registration. Pre-registration closes on Friday, September 10, 5pm, 2021.

Packet pick-up

If you pre-registered you may pick-up your race packet, bib & t-shirt beginning at 2pm on Thursday, September 9th at 2pm and again on Friday, September 10th from 9am to 3pm at:

Kirkwood Dental Station

200 S. Kirkwood Road, Ste 90

Kirkwood, MO 63122

More Information About The Races

If your child is an elementary schooler, please read the Fun Run information page.

Thanks to all of the wonderful Rotary Ramble Sponsors

You have heard from your classroom teachers, now it's time to get to know the other folks who may be working with our NG kids! Over the next few weeks, I will highlight other teams at NG that support our kids. Today's highlight ~ ACADEMIC INTERVENTION TEAM

Morning Announcements Help Needed!

As we did last year, we need NG kids to send in videos of them saying THE PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE, the NG PLEDGE and of course, jokes!

(Note, jokes should be school appropriate which basically means they should not have anything to do with bodily functions. I usually tell the kids, if they have to ASK if it is school appropriate, it probably is not....LOL!)

If your family speaks a different language at home, we would LOVE to have any of the above in your home language as well! Parents, siblings, pets are welcome to join the fun.

Pleaee send your videos to Mrs. Sisul at

Please note in the subject bar which entry you are sending!

Free and Reduced Lunch Information

Although meals will be free to all children again this year; filling out and qualifying for free/reduced meals has the additional benefit of extending reduced costs for iPad/computer insurance and exam costs. We will be providing paper copies and you may complete them ahead of time via this link:

If you need confidential assistance with this process, please reach out to Mrs. Tonya Ampey-Elong, on school social worker.

Please refer to the NG web calendar for updated info.
