We will be celebrating Martin Luther King Jr. Day on January 20th! We encourage you to take advantage of school being closed to learn more about him at home! Follow the links below to learn more about Martin Luther King Jr. & even read a poem about him! Martin Luther King Jr. reflects qualities that we are teaching through our IB Learner Profile Attributes including being caring, a risk-taker, principled, and a thinker. We encourage you to discuss how your child can mirror these qualities at school!

Bell Ringers, Fluency & Number Sense Routines: Fluency Activities, Sprints, and Math Talks
Application Problem: Completed daily to ensure that students have experiences with all problem types during the year. It may serve as a springboard into the day's lesson or a review of yesterday's.
Instructional Focus: Focused on new or continued learning.
Practice Set: This work is completed independently by the students. Teachers determine the "MUST DO", "COULD DO", and Extension Problems.
Class Review: Student to teacher discourse based on internalizing the key points of the lesson. It offers the teacher insight on how students have received the instruction and practice opportunities. It offers students another opportunity to gain understanding before completing Exit Ticket.
Exit Ticket: Utilized to determine students' mastery of that day's lesson.
