Thylacine report



The Thylacine(Tasmanian Tiger) is a extinct animal. It is the biggest carnivorous marsupial which is a pouched mammal in modern times. It lived around Australia and in Tasmania also some areas in Papua New Guinea.


How it got extinced

The Thylacine becamed extinced in Tasmania due to hunting since it kept eating the europeans livestock. The last captive Tasmanian tiger was called Benjamin who died in 1933 Muesman Zoo Hobart Tasmania. Some scientists suggest that dingos had to do something with the extinction.


It mostly ate small birds and sometimes sheep, beef and chicken. The thylacine was also known to eat dead eabbits and wallabies.
