Doing Art Projects
Description of activity
Child is creating art with pencils, paints, crayons, clay, etc.
Structured activity
When creating art with your own hands, there is a sense of accomplishment. When children create all sorts of art with their own hands for the first time, it's a magical experience. They can learn all sorts of things, like patience, creativity, how to share with others, and how to have an emotional outlook with art.
Type of PLAY
This type of play is expressive play, because children are using their own minds and hands to create anything they want. They are expressing themselves using the power of art.
What are you learning by doing art projects?
When I do art projects, I am learning different color combinations, and how different shapes can create certain pictures. I am also learning a creative outlook for emotions and creativity.
