Feature Teacher
Our Feature Teacher is Mrs. Overholser! She is our librarian! Thank you for all that you do, Mrs. Overholser!
This is my second year at Schwenksville. Previously I've been at Middle School West and Skippack.
What is your favorite thing to do outside of school?
I love to read and go glamping with my family, which includes my two kids, husband and two crazy coonhounds. I've been to 44 states and look forward to getting to more over the next few years.
What are you most proud of/your greatest accomplishment?
Going back to school at 44 years old to get my Master's Degree. It's allowed me to try something new which led me to Schwenksville.
What advice would you like to pass on to our students?
Read what makes you happy, don't focus on the size of the book. As an adult some of my favorite books to read are picture books. They make me smile and often help to change my mood.
What else would you like to share with our students and families?
Dream big, but make it your own dream. Your path is yours to try new things.
