Bus Safety- Keeping Your Child Safe. Seguridad en el autobús - Mantener a su hijo seguro
Ya sea que su hijo sea un nuevo conductor de autobús o haya estado viajando en autobús durante años, es importante hablar sobre la seguridad del autobús. A continuación hay algunos consejos sobre cómo hablar con su hijo sobre la seguridad del autobús.
Getting On the Bus:
1. Get to the bus stop early.
2. When you see the bus coming, line up away from the curb.
3. Wait until the bus comes to a complete stop and the driver opens the door before you move toward the bus.
4. Be extra careful if you cross the street to get on the bus.

1. Llegue a la parada de autobús temprano.
2. Cuando vea venir el autobús, alinee lejos de la acera.

On the Bus:
1. Always obey the bus driver.
2. Stay in your seat and don't shout or yell.
3. Never stick your hands, arms, or head out the window.
4. Report any bullying or dangerous behavior you see.

Getting Off the Bus:
1. If you have to walk in front of the bus, walk at least 10 feet (5 giant steps) in front of the bus. Make sure you can see the driver, and the driver can see you.
2. If you have to cross the street, wait for the driver to signal it's safe. Then look left, right, and left again before crossing.
Bajarse del autobús:
1. Si tiene que caminar enfrente del autobús, camine al menos 10 pies (5 pasos gigantes) frente al autobús. Asegúrese de que puede ver el controlador, y el conductor puede verlo a usted.
