The Cherokee Indians lived in the mountains. Cherokee Indians needs are water, food, shelter, clothing, knowledge and relationship.
Cherokee food
The Cherokee people harvested berries and corn. They also ate deer meat plus they made medical drinks. For hunting they used bow arrows. They needed rich soil for planting and wood to make weapons.
Cherokee clothing
The Cherokee people wore jewelry. They made clothing out of bark, plants, animal skin, and tan skin.
Cherokee shelter
The Cherokee people went into the woods to find materials so they can build wigwams. They used bark, mud, grass, clay, and hay.
Cultural Traditions of the Cherokee Indians
One of the Cherokee traditions is that they do stomp dances. The Cherokee tell stories when they dance.
