Honoring mask decisions

Effective Monday, February 28, wearing a mask in schools is recommended, but no longer required. Some students and staff will choose to keep wearing masks in schools, and others will choose to not wear masks. Each person’s decision will be motivated by a reason that makes sense to that individual or family. We will honor and support all of our students and staff in whatever choice they make. This district will remain a community of schools that cares for and respects all of its members.

  • Students and staff who test positive for COVID-19 must wear a mask if they choose to return to school on days six through 10.

  • As always, students and staff are reminded to stay home when they are ill.

New mask guidance for bus riders

In a message to bus riders earlier this week, we announced that due to updated CDC guidance, masks are no longer required on school buses. We know that some students, staff or drivers will choose to keep wearing masks on buses, and others will choose to not wear masks. We will honor and support all individuals in whatever choice they make.
