Happy New Year!
I trust that you have relaxed, refreshed, and recharged your hearts and minds during the break and ready to experience GREATNESS at AMCHS. For the past several days, the word GREATNESS has resonated in my spirit, and I am expecting GREATNESS at AMCHS like never before! There may be challenges along the way, but I am anticipating supernatural success.
Each of you have a purpose at AMCHS, and be inspired to never underestimate the power you have to make an impact. So I challenge you to examine your spirit, mind, and soul and bring your GREATNESS to AMCHS in 2018. Serving others can be daunting but rewarding too. So, be wiling to use your gifts and talents well to help maximize the GREATNESS in our students. Let’s get ready for GREATNESS at AMCHS and be committed to helping ALL students go further in ways that never imagined.

General Expectations
○Report to campus by 7:55 am daily
○Stand outside your door after each class period and greet students
○Keep food and drinks in the cafeteria
○Everyone must wear an ID badge (including visitors)
○Escort visitors to the front office (if needed)
○Contact parents of struggling learners
○Shred documents that have students' personal information displayed
○All teachers must chaperone a dance or work our UIL Academic meet
○All teachers must attend Graduation--June 1st at 7:00 pm

- January 12th Show registration video in all AS classes, No movement
- January 15 MLK Holiday (no school)
- January 16th-19th No AS movement unless both sides of the registration form are completed and turned in to AS teacher.

Grade Reminders
Follow up with parents of struggling learners
Be cognizant of 68s and 69s at the end of a reporting period.
When a students receives an incomplete, the student has a week to complete any missed work to regain eligibility.
A minimum of 9 separate grades per subject are required each 6 weeks. At
least two of these must be separate Academic Achievement grades.
