#SVTBook Chat

There has been such success with the regular #SVTChats on Sundays, we wanted to try something new. Wednesday, August 21, was the inaugural #SVTBook chat. The first book that we are reading is Matt Miller’s: Ditch That Textbook. These chats are held every other Wednesday at 8 pm. Use the hashtag #SVTBook to join in. We will cover two chapters in each chat. Please feel free to join the discussion, even if you are not able to read.

If you would like to receive email information regarding the chat and a sticker, please fill out this form. If you would like to learn more about the author and the book, check out this interview with Matt Miller.

Our first chat had 29 people from within and outside our district. It was a great discussion, of wonderful educators; check out the whole chat on Storify. Next chat is this Wednesday, October 5th, at 8 pm. We will be discussing Chapters 1 and 2. Hope to see you there!
