The current experience we have of school is very much the same as “Red” in the COVID traffic light system. Masks are required, there is limited access and our activities are restricted. We are hoping and expecting to be back at school in 2022 in at least “Orange”.

Here is a summary

At all levels:

• Schools are open.
• Schools will not / can not and are in fact prohibited from differentiating between students that are vaccinated and students that are non vaccinated.

Please note: Should vaccination for children under 12 years become an option, parent consent will be required. There seems to be concern that vaccinations will occur in schools without parental consent - be assured this will not happen.

By now you will know your child’s class placement for next year. This year we have not been able to coordinate a time for children to meet their new teacher, their classmates and the room location. This was due to us keeping the integrity of our existing class bubbles.

“Open house”

We would like to invite you to an informal ‘open house’ on Tuesday 1st February, 1:00pm - 3:00pm.

This is a chance for you to meet your child’s teacher for the year, drop off any stationery if you wish, familiarise your child with the new space, have a quiet word with your child’s teacher and enjoy a good catch up. The staffroom will also be open for you to have a cup of coffee with friends should you wish. The classrooms will be open for visitors between 1:00pm-3:00pm and we encourage you to drop in any time during this period. Children are most welcome to accompany you to show you around, or you can pop in by yourself - whatever works for you.

Please note: this will not occur if we are operating under “Red”.

We are re-opening orders for these over the holiday period. A print run will be done early in Term 1 of 2022.

*Note: This is for 2021 class photos. Please ensure you purchase the class photo of the room your child was in this year (2021). Class photos for 2022 will be taken closer to the end of next year.

Our Holiday programme will be running from Thursday 16th December until Thursday 23rd Dec & again from Monday 10th Jan 2022 until Wednesday 2nd Feb. We are closed over the Christmas/News Years period. Check out all our fun activities below.
