Foundations 1-Literature Class
December 12, 2015-
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
A Slurping Success!
After reading "An All American Slurp", students were asked to present on a country of their choice. Wow! What a group. Every single student did a fabulous job sharing the information they had gathered and many went above and beyond bringing props, dressing up, or sharing yummy food items! (And we are talking some major good food!!!)
In our class discussion we talked about how the Chinese family in "An All American Slurp" often felt different then the culture they lived in. We took this theme and considered how we, as Christians, are citizens of Heaven and how we should stand out as different here in this world. Both classes had good thoughts to share.
A Big Apology to the Boys and their Parents!
As most of you know by now, I was 40 minutes late to class last week. Somehow I twisted my schedule in my mind and planned to be at the Moss Home at 2:00 instead of 1:00. Please forgive me. It must have been all the yummy sugar treats from the morning class!!
The picture below will give you a bit of an idea of what I felt like when my son received a message from Josh Moss asking where in the world I was! Thank you for your prayers and concern!! I did feel loved!!
See you all after the Holidays!
