Message From Principal Hein

We had hoped that this year would be a more normal year than last year. In some ways it was, but in many ways it wasn't. I still miss having our parents in the building for every class party, program, and Bingo Night. I miss having special events, activities, and trips for our students. I am confident that next year will be the more normal we have all been waiting for!

I do want to thank you for your patience, understanding, and support during another challenging year. My staff and I have done our very best to give each student the best possible pathway to success and we have seen countless stories of success across our school! We hope you are pleased with your child's education at Lakeview. We are committed to making it the best it can be and I am always willing to hear your ideas and suggestions if you have them!

I wish all of our families a safe and fun summer! If your child is moving on to another school, we will miss serving you and wish your child and your family great days ahead. Otherwise, we will see you at Back to School Night in August!

Thank you for entrusting my team and I with the education of your child.

Scott Hein

Principal

A Friendly Reminder From Mrs. Gossenn

Hey Lakeview Families,

DEADLINE: May 13, 2022

It's that time of the year. Do you hear the library books and Chromebooks crying? They are missing each other or they may be hurt and need the library book or Chromebook hospital! All Lakeview Library materials must be returned by May 13. That includes Chromebooks, library books and money for lost or damaged materials. YPS accepts cash or checks made out to Yukon Public Schools. Don't delay; take care of it today! Thanks for your help!

Parking Lot Reminder From Principal Hein

Please remember that students are only to be dropped off from the inside and outside lanes between the main entrance flagpole and the gym entrance. Students should only be picked up from the same lanes between the playground and the gym entrance at their pod pick up zone. This is to maintain a smooth and efficient flow in the parking lot, and to ensure student safety.

Neighboring businesses do not like cars taking space in their lots and students are not to be dropped off on the east side of the lot or the south side of the school. Thank you for following our procedures and modeling for your child that following directions is important,

News in Music
