Halloween Activities
Parents,
There seems to be confusion about whether or not we are having a classic Halloween party on Monday and I wanted to take this opportunity to clear up any questions you may have up.
Due to the high volume of Halloween activities at CCE (Trunk or Treat, Boo Grams, Parade, Costumes, musical performances, and Trick-or-Treating on Halloween), we decided 4 years ago to not have a traditional party and instead do the morning parade and purchase a PTO craft for each grade level for the students to complete at school. The teachers also plan some Fall and/or Halloween academic activities to keep the student engaged on a day that we all know is a little bit whacky!
So, what does our day look like?
Well, it depends on the grade level and when they eat lunch, and when they will get to watch the 3rd Graders perform the music program! But, all students will:
Participate in the morning costume parade
Enjoy a craft provided by the PTO
Attend the 3rd Grade Music Performance
Complete some Fall or Halloween activities with their class!
For those of you who miss the class parties, we still have them for our Winter Party and our Valentine's party!
Thank you!
Kelley Begley McCall
Lunch Reservations
We look forward to welcoming parents and guardians to our Parent Cafe Space now that the weather is getting cooler. Please use the link below to sign up.
Due to limited space, we have to limit the number of sign-ups! But, just like before, you are always welcome to take your students outside to our picnic tables in the courtyard, sit at one of our benches or tailgate at your car if there isn't space inside or if it happens to be a day we don't have indoor seating!
Operation Christmas Information: Due By November 9th
Operation Christmas sign-ups are now being accepted! If you know of any families who can benefit from some holiday help this season, please send parents/guardians the attached information so they can get signed up to receive gifts for their kids. All forms can be returned to CCE either electronically or physically through November 5th!

Clear Creek Elementary Holiday Mart Vendor Application Saturday, November 19th, 9:00am – Noon
You are invited to display and sell your arts, crafts, or merchandise at the annual CCE Holiday Mart! This event is held at CCE during Winter Wonderland, where we have pictures with Santa, the fall Book Fair, food offerings, the CCE choir, and other holiday activities! We are looking for a variety of products to give CCE families a start to their holiday shopping…crafts, jewelry, food, hand bags, make-up, home decor, Christmas items, and much more! Please feel free to share this application with friends and family who may be interested in participating.
Applications will be accepted by Megan Finley until November 4. You can e-mail the form to MLFinley17@gmail.com OR send it home with Lucy Finley (3rd Grade, Leonard). Priority will first be given to CCE families. We try our best not to allow duplicate vendors, and applications will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis. Vendors are solely responsible for sales, sales tax, payments received, and delivery of items. All vendors will be contacted by November 7, and if your application is accepted, your payment will be due by November 18.
Due to our configuration, only a limited number of tables will have access to electricity. Vendors requesting electricity will be assigned in the order that applications are received.
Questions? Please contact the Winter Wonderland coordinator Megan Finley at MLFinley17@gmail.com.

Upcoming Fall Parade: October 31st
Fall Parade: October 31st at 9:05 A.M.
Fall fun is just around the corner! Clear Creek will host our 4th annual all school parade Monday, October 31st starting at 9:05 a.m. Parade routes are below to help you pick the best spot to be able to see all of the wonderful costumes.
If your child would like to wear a costume…
Wear it to school that morning.
Keep costumes school appropriate.
Save the face paint, weapons, and hair coloring for trick-or-treating.
For safety, children must be able to clearly see through a mask.
Parking
We would love for families to join us during the parade! Since we have limited parking we highly encourage those that can, to walk to the school or carpool with other families. Also, please be mindful of the morning car loop. The back parking lot will be unavailable for parking until the car loop has ended, approximately 8:45am. The front bus loop will also be blocked off entirely as we will parade through the loop.
Parade Route (See Maps Below)
If weather allows, all grades will parade outside. The parade will start at the back doors on the south end of the parking lot. We plan to have grade levels parade in the following order: fourth, third, kindergarten, fifth, first, and then second. Children will walk along the back parking lot following the path around the kindergarten playground. They will then walk across the front of the building and reenter the school at the front entrance to head back to class. Our parade route is noted in red on the map below. Please keep this area clear for the staff and students.
Inclement Weather Route
If the weather is not conducive for an outdoor event, we will parade in the hallways and parents may find a spot along the route to view.
Parade will start in the 4th Grade and the following will add to the end of their parade:
3rd
Kindergarten
5th
1st
2nd
