Building Successful Futures-Each Student-Every Day
LAST WEEK For Lunch Visits!!
This will be our last week for lunch visits. Next week is the last week of school and we have lots of activities going on in the building. Hopefully you can join us for Field Day!
Please use the updated sign up genius to sign up for lunchtime visits. Due to limited seating in the cafeteria and a tight lunch schedule, guests will be limited. You will always be able to find the sign up genius in the Friday SMORE newsletter. We are not allowing parents to attend recess with their children at this time. We will make adjustments as needed. Please call Dr. Means if you have questions.Eagles on the Run and Sophie's Run

Reminders For Our 5th Grade Families
2022-2023 Elementary School Supply List
Free Meals Are Ending
Due to funding from a federal program, we were able to supply free meals to all children ages 18 and under for the past two years. That program is ending on the last day of school. After the last day of school, we can no longer provide universal free meals or bulk frozen meal kits.
This means students attending summer school will need to pay for breakfast and lunch, or they can bring their own food. Families who think they might qualify for free and reduced meals should apply for these benefits. If you applied for the 2021-2022 school year, you do not need to reapply for summer school, and you can check with our social worker, Kristen Galloway gallowayk@parkhill.k12.mo.us, or our Nutrition Services department weavers@parkhill.k12.mo.us if you are unsure.
The application for the 2021-2022 school year and 2022 summer school will extend to the first 30 days of the 2022-2023 school year, and then eligible families will need to reapply to receive the meal benefits for the remainder of the upcoming school year.
If your child is eligible for free and reduced meal benefits and you apply, you can also receive additional benefits like fee waivers, activity scholarships, free screenings, school supplies and more.
You can find more information on our website: https://www.parkhill.k12.mo.us/families/menus-and-nutrition/free-and-reduced-meals
