Second Sunday of Advent
Lord, make me an instrument of your peace. Where there is hatred, let me sow love; Where there is injury, pardon; Where there is doubt, faith; Where there is despair, hope; Where there is darkness, light; and Where there is sadness, joy… Divine Master; Grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console; to be understood as to understand; to be loved as to love; For it is in giving that we receive; it is in pardoning that we are pardoned, and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life. Amen
Cardio Drumming, started this last Friday. Students were so excited about this type of exercise. They were exhausted after 10 min.

Thank You to SCHOOL COUNCIL for paying for all of the Cardio-Drumming Equipment. Thank you for your vision to support our students in meaningful ways.
Students and Staff to wear Christmas Colours to get into the Christmas Spirt.

Before and After School
Students DO NOT PLAY IN THE PLAYGROUND. This is due to supervision and more importantly COHORTING.
AFTERSCHOOL, students go to the bus OR wait by their designated door on their coloured spot, until their parent picks them up. Students cannot go and play in the playground while waiting for their parents.
We need to account for all students until they are with their parents. We are trying to keep everyone safe.
Thank you for your understanding,
Mrs. K. Antoniuk
Principal.

Christmas Concert NO , But ...
We are so happy to announce that we will put an Advent Christmas video together for you and your family.
Each class will be doing 2 things: Song and Poem, 2 Songs, A reading of a story. It will depend upon the teacher and students. They will decide.
On Monday, Dec. 14th, we ask that you send your kids to school in their Sunday best clothing and we will video record them singing. We will send you the video link on Dec.18th.
If you do not want your child recorded, please let your child's teacher know and we will keep them out of the recording.
We will also, send you a link on Dec.18th to make a donation to Valeda House. Like every Christmas, we collect at the concert $$ for Valeda House.
I am so excited about this. We are so happy that we can keep the Christmas Spirit as a special part of Madonna School.
Also, On the Last day of classes before Christmas - December 22, all classes will have a party in the afternoon. They will make snowflake decorations, sing Christmas Carols virtually and School Council will be providing your child with a Christmas orange and cookie.
