So many words of wisdom in the world, I thought I would share these with you! Have a wonderful summer!
This will be my last newsletter of the year! My, how time did fly! We had so much FUN this year! Please don't hesitate to contact me through my email address. Feel free to keep sending pictures so I can see what the kids are up to this summer! I will be anxious to see them in August as THIRD GRADERS!
We have so much going on next week..We WILL get some reading, writing and math in!
Please be sure to check folders next week but especially on THURSDAY for report cards and other end of the year items. I will start sending home folders and notebooks on Monday so the kids won't have such a heavy load on the last day.
We finished the book Because of Winn Dixie, so as our last class party, we will be watching the movie on Monday afternoon. Your child may bring a small snack to enjoy while we watch the movie; something like a small bag of pretzels, chips, etc. I will provide some drinks!
Our farm trip was a blast! A perfect day to enjoy the farm. Thank you for helping us make it a success. If you have any pictures from our day at the farm, will you send them to me through email? I'd love to have them!

Over the Summer....
- Please hang on to your car rider hang tags over the summer. Kindergartners and new families will be the only ones to receive new ones next year. Replacement tags are $1. Please retrace your name in CAPITAL letters with a permanent marker and store them in your glove compartment so they are ready to go for the fall. Thank you for your help!
- READ as much as you can over the summer. It doesn't have to be a book! There are lots of things to read in the world. Even just 10 minutes a day will help to keep your reading skills fresh! Third grade will be here before you know it! You will want to be ready!!
