- April 13: ALL 10th-grade students will take the Florida Standards Assessment (FSA) Writes test. This is the first part of the FSA test that ALL 10th-grade students must take and pass.

Future USF Bulls Provost Scholars Program- Deadline April 15th
Are you a highly motivated, high-achieving student attending the University of South Florida (Tampa campus) this fall? Do you want to graduate early and be a part of a small community at USF? If so, please read about USF’s Provost’s Scholars Program (Links to an external site.).
What is USF’s Provost’s Scholars Program?
It an exclusive, accelerated personal and professional development program available to students who
- Are motivated and eager to complete their bachelor’s degree in three years, instead of four!
- Earned 18 credits or more from college, Advanced Placement (AP), International Baccalaureate (IB), AICE, CAPE, Cambridge or dual enrollment coursework while in high school,
- Earned a 3.7 weighted high school GPA (as calculated by USF), and
- Scored a minimum 1250 SAT or 26 ACT.
Provost's Scholars Program Foundational Experiences
Becoming a Provost’s Scholar requires completing the PSP Pillars, or Foundational Experiences (Links to an external site.). Each of the Pillars is designed to help you select and pursue meaningful activities that will complement your career path and professional goals, and make you a more competitive candidate for your preferred field or graduate program(s). The Pillars promote intentional involvement, ranging from research to shadowing and internships, to leadership roles and community service, to fostering global awareness. Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Scholarship- Deadline 4/22
Don Brown (Chairman) of the Tampa Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc. Scholarship Committee is please to provide up to six Scholarship awards totaling $20,000. The amount of each award is as follows: (2) $5,000, and (4) $2,000). Scholarships are available for 2022 male graduating seniors.
Scholastic awards will be given to students who have demonstrated excellence in their scholastic achievements and community activities. Funding is provided by the Pi Iota Education Foundation, Inc., a 503C3 Corporation. The requirements and application form are attached. Please click on link below:

Hillsborough students grade 6-12 have unlimited, on-demand access to free academic support through Paper. Need someone to talk through a particularly tough math problem? A Paper Tutor will be there to assist students within seconds. Need someone to read an essay and make suggestions on how you can improve it before submitting? A Paper Tutor will be there to assist students.
No matter what a student's academic needs are, Paper’s expert learning assistants are available to help 24-hours a day, 7-days a week. Just log in and ask a question! Students can login through Clever by clicking on the Paper icon.
Unlimited, Expert Support for Students, No Costs for Families.
Paper is a free resource for all Hillsborough students grades 6-12. Any student can connect and speak with a tutor for 30 minutes or 6 hours. Their usage will never be capped and families will not have to pay a cent for seeking assistance.
When working with a Paper Tutor, students should not expect to receive answers. Instead, their tutor will ask them guiding questions to get students thinking critically about what they know, what they’ve tried, where any misunderstandings are, and how to move forward.
