Brownsvillle texas is a semi tropical cimate with a population of about 200,000 and growing. many people love this town for its cool tempeatures of 74 degrees. though it it realy rumid becasue it is so close to the gulf of mexico. Residents regularly visit Matamoros and South Padre Island as both places are only minutes away. the residents also love to go shopping in there great outlet malls and brownsvilles great animal interactions programs. the other industries of Brownsville is food processing, aircraft repair, and tourism. this city is at its best right now and when you go there you will never want to leave.

The Gulf Coastal Plains include three subprovinces named the Coastal Prairies, the Interior Coastal Plains, and the Blackland Prairies. the costal plains starts at the gulf of mexico. silts, clay, and sand is deposeted to the nearby grasslands and form great slopes to the southeast. trees are very uncommen unless by a good water source, which results in very little to no forests at all.
Mission San Juan historical park
founded in 1716 this national park was moved to its location in 1731. San Juan was a self-sustaining community. in the community indain artisans made iron tools, cloths, and animal hides. there were also many gardens that grew crops like pumkins, melons, grapes, peppers, corn, beans, squash, sweet potatoes, and sugar cane. the products they produced not only helped them make money and survive but they also help support near by settlements. in the mid 1700s they became a regional supplier of agricultural products. san jaun created a a good trading system with Louisiana and south Coahuila, Mexico. this economy heped them survive in there final years.
