The Saints Parent Pledge
All areas of the St. Louis Catholic High School community (students, faculty & staff, parents) have been asked to develop a pledge to acknowledge our commitment to living our lives according to the tenets of our faith and the standard of excellence that our school community strives for. The parents of St. Louis students are invited to contribute their ideas to the SLC Parent Pledge.
Examples of this pledge could include:
- Pray for SLC daily.
- Challenge their students in all areas of life.
- Support the school's mission.
- Use social media to promote SLC in a positive light.
- Host student gatherings that are supervised & free from alcohol & drugs.
I ask that each of you reflect on the purpose of the parent pledge and submit any ideas to me via email, drosteet@yahoo.com by Monday, October 30, 2017.
Sincerely,
De Ann Rosteet
SLC Parent Guild President
Curriculum Corner
More important than any test score is the value of each student and his/her well being. As a SLCHS community, it is our goal to know each student as an individual. They are precious gifts from God and we believe that is the best curriculum we can offer.
Blessings,
Mia Orgeron
Assistant Principal
Tech Tips
Tech Tip from John Monlezun (OneNote Student Avenger):
"If you are ever struggling with something or don’t know how to do something it’s a great idea to go and talk to Mrs. LeJeune or a OneNote Avenger."
Each Moodle Class Page has the list of OneNote Avengers and a YouTube Playlist for Students with helpful videos. Students can also email the Avengers and Mrs. LeJeune for help.

Research Re-Invented
During the week of September 5-8, Mrs. Barrow brought her English I students to the library to learn about the library's research databases. Students used the databases to answer questions on a scavenger hunt and "break out" to show readiness to begin the research on his/her paper's topic.
